ThreatScan (AFAIK) is a virus-vulnerability scanner. That's what it says on the PDF file

It's quite useful actually. You can find vulnerabilities which can be exploited by viruses and be able to patch them before they're actually used.
Also, I use ThreatScan to find machines on my network that are NOT supposed to be there. And which machines do not have the ePO agent installed yet.
I believe there's an eval version for download at NAI's web site. You'll need ePO to use this.
