Mcafee Protection Pilot Service Won't Start

Here's the situation:

Mcafee Protection Pilot 1.1.0 on Windows 2000 SP4
The Server service (McAfee ProtectionPilot 1.1.0 Server) won't start. I tried to start it up manually and it won't do it.

Any idea what could be causing it? Maybe a windows update that conflicts with it? That's the only thing that I've changed on the computer recently.

I'm trying to hunt around for a solution, and I haven't turned up anything yet...

check the service password settings, try setting it manually if its a logon failure for the service, thats the only problem I've run into, where the logon information for the service was cleared somehow, that is what I never determined the cause, but it has not happened since
