Mcafee problem

I have succesfully installed ePO 2.5 and I am sending software (Mcafee 4.5.1) to the users on my network, but there is a problem. Some users are complaining that the VShield window is popping-up and freezing-up there computer frequently. I think this is becasue the agent update interval was set to every 5 minutes, but shouldn't all this be invisible to the user anyway? What could be causing this?

The only reason they can be seeing the VShield splash screen is if VirusScan is being updated. Check your tasks and see if you have an update task running too frequently. Also turn off the splash screen. You can configure this within ePO for VirusScan 4.5.1 if you have any 4.5.0 it's a registry hack.

try the engine hotfix - solved my vshield freezing after login problem.
