McAfee ePolicy shutting down Progress

Does anyone have experience with using ePolicy Orchestrator on the same server with Progress Software? We installed ePolicy on our client server. Every 30 minutes, when ePolicy is set to enforce policies, Progress users are sporadically slowed down, disconnected, or cannot connect at all. Some users also receive sporadic slick-C errors. We shutdown the ePolicy agent, and the problems immediately disappeared. Does anyone have ePolicy working successfully with Progress, and/or know of a setting in ePolicy that will prevent it from affecting Progress?
