Does this support Malware detection out of the box or is there an add on I would need to get?
Right now I am running Virus Scan Enterprise 8.7. Version 8.8 is out, do I just go into the Master Repository-Pull Now and select Virus Scan 8.8.0? I am new to EPO and was just given this to take over so any help is appreciated.

Yes it does.

You'll need to download VSE8.8 from McAfee then import into the Master Repository, I always prefer to do these things manually.
You should also download Agent v4.6.
The hard(ish) part is getting the VSE8.7 policies copied across to VSE8.8.
There is a tool that comes with VSE8.8 to do that for you.
Once you've got the policies imported you'll be able to push out the updated software to the clients via a client task.
At least for me there was no issue going from agent 4.5, VSE8.7 to agent 4.6, VSE8.8. Users didn't really notice and it didn't require a reboot.

Since ePO4.5 is out of support at the end of the year you might want to also look at upgrading to ePO4.6.6.
I would do that first then the new VSE etc.

Thanks for the info. Since I just inherited this and really don't know how to do that I will call Mcafee and see. I thought I could just do a PULL on 8.8 but it seems there is more then that.
For Malware is there an addon or something? I get killed with Malware and I constantly have to run malwarebytes and now I am testing Malwarebytes Enterprise. If I could stick with 1 solution that would be good.
