McAfee and NAV

When I bought computer in the past, NAV was installed. On a new computer I was considering buying, I notice that instead of NAV that McAfee Security Suite is installed.
Would anyone know if I would have to do a lot of "learning" to find out how to use McAfee Security? Or are they both 'about the same?'
Or are they both 'completely' different from each other?

(Sorry if I posted this question to wrong board, but I didn't see a board for Virus program and therefore didn't know where else to post this question.)

The purpose of the two software is same. You don't require much reading. Just the help included with the software would be able to help you.
