Hi,
I'm running windows 2000 professional with SP4, and McAfee Anti-Virus 4.5 with SP1
I'm trying to create a script that updates McAfee when a user plugs an ethernet cable into our local lan.
When I run 'mcupdate.exe /task update' from a command line as admin it works fine, but as a user it generates errors and won't update the dat files.
as a user I can go through the gui and everything updates fine, I assume its because its using the system account, and that from a command line its using the users credentials
Is there a way to update the dats as a user? or tell mcupdate to use the system account?
