Passed 70-310 on Friday ( XML Web Services ) to go with
my already held 703-05 ( windows ) and 70-306 ( web ).

So I have an MCAD. Whiiieee!

I have a few questions though.

1) Do you get a certificate in addition to the MCP
certificate I got when I passed my first exam?

2) Do Microsoft tend to do upgrade paths for the second
tier certificate ( i.e. MCAD or MCSA ) every time
new technology comes out or is that only for the
top level ( MCSD, MCSE and MCDBA )?

Dazed and confused

1. Yes. Log into the MCP site and you can request your new welcome kit with your new cert and your updated card.

2. Yes, the second tiers usualy get an upgrade to the next level as well. 2000 MCSA has an upgrade path to 2003 MCSA. I don't know about for the programming ones. It probably depends on what is changed. Check the MCP site for the upgrade path from the previous version to the current version.
