Does anyone know how much longer the tests for version 1.1 of .NET will be available or when they will be retired?

I'm shooting for the MCAD but I also see that Microsoft is really pushing the new version 2.0. And whenever that happens, they tend to retire previous tests.

Thanks...

I checked a few weeks ago and it said they were retiring them in 2006. I went back to confirm that last weekend and it was changed to 2007. Unless they back pedal, looks like we have at least another year :)

I passed the 70-315 test for ASP.NET 1.1 C#. I was surprised there were only 43 questions on it. Frankly I overstudied for it because there was a lot of material I absorbed that was never covered on the test.

I was also surprised that there weren't many C# code questions. You could have been a VB.NET programmer, known nothing about C# and done about as well.

Next up will be the SQL Server 2000.

GREAT! I'm studying for Windows Based Apps with VB.Net atm. I'm hoping to be ready to schedule for the middle of next month.

Right now I'm going for the Windows Apps C# Test (70-316). From what I have heard the Windows exam is easier than the Web. I decided to go for the MCSD instead of the MCAD.

If you have a few years experience developing in .NET it should be a breeze.

Then I'll start tackling the SQL Server 2000 Implementation test, which I've heard is a ball buster.

My goal is to get the 1.1 MCSD/MCAD Certification before they retire the tests.
