Hi we are facing some issues in our IPT network. We have tied three system using ITG ISDN trunk. Some times/randomly we are getting distorted voice/some times silent duration between talk..System administrator requested us if we can provide MC32 card error logs...Can somebody help which file include error log and how to copy this file to PC.
Thanks

not sure about the logs, you probably can print them from the CLI on the card via telnet or serial, those old cards used to have to be setup via OTM or TM.

but what you are describing sounds like packet loss on the network, make sure there is no DUPLEX missmatch on the LAN Switch port, and no PORT SECURITY is enabled on that swtichport the ITG is plugged into.

Hi Pal, can you please help how to print these error logs or printing error log file as i can see a command use to ON?OFF Logs but not print command..
regards

not sure what you can do unless you have OTM / TM, in TM you can just click open log file, if you are in CLI, check the doc, there might be a command to either copy or print the alarm logs/ logs.

gluck.

Guess , you can ssh to the MC32 card IP if that is possible.
