Dear JohnPoole, I have just replaced seventeen T1 circuits nationwide with PRI circuits. In the event one of these goes down do I always have to dis dch x TWICE before I disable, then re-enable the loop?

no the reason i dis the d twice is to keep it from auto est, while i go to 60 and drop the t.
