Bcm 50 with a 8x18 MBM in the expansion slot. The issue is the unit is making a loud squeeling noise. Seems like the fan on the MBM is getting louder. Can you replace the fans on the MBM mods. I blew out all the dust and it seems like the bearings in the small fan are getting worn ???

Never tried. It's not a FRU (Field Replacable Unit) other than the entire MBM. Try moving the MBM to another expansion unit or BCM and see if the problem follows the MBM.

It is the fan on the mbm for sure....powered up the expander empty and no noise....
