MBG WEb proxy and AWC collaboration

Been trying to get MAS user portal and AWC collaboration to work from an external.

Get an error of Page not Found. The intial login screen works fine but then once you click on the AWC side it doesn't work.
Also due to this the collaboration link doesn't work either. get same error.
I've done the split DNS thing with the second public IP forwarding port 443 to 4443 etc etc.

Any ideas like which log files to check. I think this is going to take some really fancy know how to resolve.
Setup is MAS 2.2 SP 1 with AWC 3.9 and WEb proxy 2.0.7. Web proxy has been configured. I can get to initial MAS user portal login.

Are uou using the FQDN or the IP address?
AWC requires FQDN to work correctly

FQDN
works fine internally, also did the necessary on external publlic DNS servers
