MBG and vmware

Has anyone heard of any upcoming news of MBG and vmware.

I've tried and and had it working but does anyone know the technical reason why its not supported yet? Is the real time traffic too intensive for a non dedicated box? or is there something vmware is not capable of. Just wondering if anyone knows of the technical answer.

We have all our Mitel apps in a virtual environment and have had no issues to date. (MBG, AWC, Mobile Extension, Nupoint, and UC3) Mitel is working in conjunction with VMware to have all apps supported by end of April.
Don't know the technical answer though.

MBG and MAS will be officially supported in a couple of months. beng told april / may time.

No real technical reason as such, just a case of going through the testing process etc. (hopefully wont bring up any issus).

The main reason for the wait on voice on Vm was because of potential latency on existing chips (Intel) et. Whilst it's going for most of us, when getting lots of users etc, COULD cause issue

But like you, have it on VM and works fine
