We have an Octel 250. How can I get a list of all mailboxes that includes the MB type and the COS? Is there a way to upload this information into MSExcel? We connect via dialup modem using Procomm.

I am sure this is pretty simple, but I have been in mgmt for a few years. Guess I am getting rusty. Thanks for your help.

you can use mailbox builder that is an addon to proccom plus it will pull the info and excel sheet. Or you may be able to use Mailbox manager.

Is there any way to get access to the raw data? In another thread you mentioned a command to use at the @ prompt. The comand was L U, for list users. Is this available for this system? If it is, how do I get to the @ prompt? More importantly, how do I get back to the normal prompt? I do not think we will be able to purchase addons, as we are looking to replace this system in the near future. Any funds requested would be subject to a lot of scrutiny

Thanks again for you help!

The @ prompt and the L U command are for the Octel 200/300. It's not available on the 250. The mailbox builder was a free downlaod from Octel. I can send you the software pieces. It does use Procomm and Excel, so you would need that.

As chuck said you can't do that in the Aria world. It sounds like you are trying to pull the data to import to the new system. So the only way i would know how to do this is with Mailbox Biulder.

Actually I am trying to prepare for the migration to a new system. One area that I am very concerned with is with what they refer to here as 'menus'. These are auto-attendant type structures, press 1 for this, press 2 for that, etc. I need to get some idea of how many of these we have, how they are built, etc. Any suggestions?

Thanks for you help on this!

Man the only thing i know of is Dpro and they do not sell it any longer. This will then show you a report of all menus and where they are setup to go to.

We use it to this for our customers but i am not sure where you can get our hands on a copy. If you can download the files we may be able to work somthing out for you.
