Maybe I'm late to the party, but I just discovered this about AD/DNS 1

I have just started to role out a few 2008R2 Domain Controllers and when I ran Best Practices Analyzer, it came up with a error about "DNS server should include the loopback address, but not be the first entry"

I don't know how I could have missed this all this time, but this applies to Windows 2008 as well. I was still following guidelines for 2000 and 2003 and pointing to themselves first, then to other AD/DNS servers. Live and Learn.
