we have a CTI port attached to a Taske server collecting data.
If we take a look at the Taske data, we see the call come in, hit the auto attnedant, the person makes a selection, the call is picked up by an extension, and it shows the call connected for 1 second. All data transfer stops after that point.
The call then shows up in the Taske system as an abandoned call.
I contacted the Taske people and they have stated that the phone system has stopped sending data at that point.
Has anyone run into this issue?

Try hooking up with hyperterminal to the smdr port and see if complete data comes across there. Use your 355AF to connect a com port to the smdr port, setting: 1200 bits per second, 8 data bits, parity none, stop bits 1. Atleast you can rule out the system then.

TELCOMBOY is giving a great suggestion.

Although the TASKE folks came out to Denver and gave me training when I was still with Avaya, I have only seen one since I retired.

The CTI Port is the ALL KNOWING and ALL TELLING crystal ball into the Legend/Magix.

It is and eithernet port, so if you could come up with some way to monitor it as well as SMDR, you may figure something out.

Of course, I would start with double checking the translations and making sure that the port still thinks it's a CTI Link.

And then, if it thinks it is, I would try a different port on a different card, if you have one available.

You could also convert it back to a "REGULAR" MLX port and see if that works or not.

Good Luck....

OK, I swapped the CTI port with another MLX port that had a phone on it that wordked fine.
We shall see if the phone flakes out on that port, but it came up fine. I will let you know.
