May i force a group to use only some drives,
for example to use only 3 of our 6 drives.

I know how to force a pool to use some drives, ...

This is possible, however only for backups, not for recoveries.

Selecting a device for a pool only applies when the data is created and sorted (using pools) - during the backup process.
