Maxtor 120GB USB 2.0 hard drive not showing up in Windows Explorer!

Help! I've searched this forum but could not find a post that matched my exact problem. My Maxtor USB2.0 Hard Drive is not working in Win2k!
Ok, I bought a new 120GB Maxtor drive and put it into an external USB2.0 enclosure (StorTecc PM-350U2-LSC). It works perfectly on my WinXP Pro laptop. When I plug it into my Win2k Desktop, it doesn't show up in Windows Explorer or Disk Management! It does show up under device manager though. I've tried re-installing drivers for my SIIG USB PCI card. I've updated my ASUS P4 mobo BIOS. I've also tried plugging into my built in USB1 ports to no avail. Can anyone help, please? My specs:

Operating System: Windows 2000 Pro
Anything else you think is relevant: New Maxtor drive is set to "master". Using PCI USB card (ALI chipset) with 2 USB2 ports. Also have 2 built in USB1 ports.

Are there any devices in device manager that have ! by them or are unknown. You may need to install the motherboard usb drivers.

No. They are all fine. The Maxtor seems to be fine as well as the PCI card USB ports. Thanks though.
