Maxium password age policy

Hi,

I'm planning on setting up this policy. Before I do, can you tell me if I set the value to 45 days, will this mean that password will prompt to be changed 45 days after enabling the policy, or does it work retrospectively, so it will prompt as soon as I enable the policy?

From memory it will expire 45 days after the policy is enabled for each computer without the password never expires option selected. Otherwise 45 days after the pne option is deselected with the policy enabled.
