I have some questions about max users on conference calling and I was wondering if somebody might know the answer.

How many people can you conference in on a 4610SW IP phone?

How many people can you conference in on a meet me conference bridge on call manager 4.0?

Thanks for your help.

you would need to setup an external conference bridge (Meeting Exchange, or sometimes we use an IPOffice w/VMPro) to get more than 6 parties, as lopes1211 has pointed out.

I've heard of a lot of people using Asterisk just for conference bridging. There's no real limit to the number of participants you can have and it's free. The problem you'll have is support.

You can also get an EMMC(Expanded Meet-me Conference) server from Avaya. It will support up to 300 callers. I have one, with a 50 user license and it works great. It uses the exact same Vector and VDN setup as the personal conference bridge, just the meeting codes are different.
