Anyone know what the maximum table joined can be in Oracle 8i\9i?

Thanks in advance.

There is actually no limit with the number of tables in a joined SQL statement but for 8 and 8i, the maximum length of statements is 64K maximum, particular tools may impose lower limits.

Hi ..
[there should be no limit on the number of tables joined in one sql statement or the number of rows returned] not only in oracle but in any ANSI compatible relational RDBMS ...

I have written one sql statement [DB2] that spans 6 pages of printed A4 papers...yaaaaaaaak ...but again if u join tooooo many tables or may be stitch together mannnny queries with UNION clause , then your application is probably ill designed ...
