I'm attempting to import a text file into Access 2000 via the Import wizard and receive this error message:
"The field 'field 29' contains a start position of 33685. Maximum start position allowed is 32767." The import subsequently fails.

It may be important to note that the there are really only 14 fields; the 14th field contains OCR text and the import wizard interprests that OCR as fields 14 through 255. Even if I use the "Advanced" options and skip fields 15 through the end (just to test) -- I still get this message.

Text file is comma delimited and quote is the text identifier. Any assistance is appreciated.

Thanks, S/
