What's the maximum rows of records a table can hold in Access '97??? Also, how many megabytes your Access database can be??? In a Win98 platform.

Thanks,

The limit is 2GB per Access MDB. There is'nt really a record limit except the 2Gb size. I've tested this and imported 7 million records into an Access table. Ashley L Rickards

The maximum mdb size for Access 2000 is 2GB, however for A97 it's 1GB (according to Access 2000 Developer's Handbook; Getz, Litwin & Gilbert). I'm also not aware of any limitations on numbers of records and have also dealt with db's with records in the millions. "The Key, The Whole Key, and Nothing But The Key, So Help Me Codd!"

Thanks Ashley. Good to know.
