I have data that needs summarized on min/max/avg of a summary.

Item Time
1 1
1 1
1 5
2 2
2 4
2 6
3 3
3 5

I have the summaries working as a group function
Item Total Time
1 7
2 12
3 8

Now I need to know min/max/avg of the Total Time
Results should be:
Min 3
Max 12
Avg 9

How do I get Crystal to do this?

Thanks!!

BTW, I realize you can't summarize on a summary, but
I think it can be done with variables, just not sure how.

Use the three formula technique using variables.

You will need to do the Max, Min and Average (requries Count and Sum) and four variables.

By the way, shouldn't you the result of the second sumamry be Min = 7 ?

Thanks for the suggestion.
(and yes the avg should have been 7)

I actually solved the problem with some creative uses of a crosstab.
