maximum number of ars entries

Hi,

What is the maximum number of ARS entries the system will allow.

checked the help file but can only find info on route assignments and how to flex the system to accomodate more routes...

Well, that's helpful. Say it's an SX50, you're limited by...heck, I have no idea.
If it's a 200 Analog (anybody remember those?!), you're limited by...heck, I have no idea.
I don't work too much on 200L/EL/ICP's, sorry.
3300, limited by the block size, same as the 2000. Block size is determined by numbering plan within the pbx, very hard to explain, but is detailed in the 2K docs pretty good. If you need more ars entries, you'll need to purchase flexible dimensioning.

Yes that was helpful. Could you also explain how I get this "system" to make coffee.... Must have been smoking my socks when I did this post..sorry.

It is a 3300 controller. Is flexible dimensioning a purchasable option? Thought it was standard, on a 3300 that is. Can I assume that changing the amount of system speeddials from default 1000 to 2000 also entails flexing? If so I have done this without knowingly licensing the system for flexible dimensioning.

Hmmmm, maybe it's not a purchased option anymore. I haven't looked that far in to it. Might just need to call Product Support to get it cleared up. If you are able to flex it, be careful as you can end up using more system resources then the system has.

yeah fortunately there is a test button that will flag (tell) you if you are over utilizing...
