Maximum grouping

I am using CR 11. I want only to show data where a field is the maximum

I have all the data like this

Grp deal no
Grp Deals status
Data all fields here

It is the Deal status where i want to restrict to the maximum number within the deal no. I then want to see just the data for that status. Can someone help please

Maximum what? Date? Number? Your question is vague. Can you supply an example of your data and what you want to see?
