Maximum characters in a field

Is there any way to put more than 255 characters in a field in Access 2000. If not, how should I import a lot of text into Access so that I can view it in a report?

Hi!

A memo field will hold as much information as you want. You can link to a word document to put information on a report. Look up in help on how to use a bound object frame.
