How do properly code a form so that only that form is effected by the DoCmd.Maximize code as entered in the On_Load or On_Open event?

I am not allowed be design specs to have the Switchboard maximized with the form (shows up after I close the form).

Thank you in advance.

DoCmd.Maximize on the Form's Activate Event
DoCmd.Restore on the Form's Deactivate Event.

It's how Access works - maximize one, maximize all ... the workarounds presented, is probably what you need.

If I understand correct, you maximize a form when opening from the switchboard, then you'll need to restore the switchboard when you close this form.

For instance in the other forms on close event

[tt]forms("myswitchboard").setfocus
docmd.restore[/tt]

or just issue a docmd.restore in the switchboard on activate event.
