How do i default the maxic 3.0 / i am upgrading from a legend 7.0 to a maxic 3.0, i log in to the old legend bkup and convert to 3.0 ,so when i log in to the maxic and try to restore on the tools option it take the program and display succesfull but when it reboots and i log in there is no files in the maxic any hints ,the only thing i think is doing it agin but this time default the maxic

I believe this is a "frigid start" -
From the MLX console:
menu/maintenance/slot/dial 00/demand test/system erase (line 5 on the display, left button)/system erase/yes

From WIN SPM:
F6/F1/type 00/F2/F3/F3/F2

Hope this helps - I always frigid start when uploading to a used system.

Defaulting the Magix won't cure this problem, but I'll post the procedure in a follow-up if necessary. Are the Legend and Magix two separate PBXs, or are you upgrading the existing Legend firmware and making it a Magix?

I'm also not sure what you mean by "there is no files in the maxic". When you restore a configuration, it is put in the processor's NVRAM...not the flash card. Files are stored on the flash card during a local backup of the NVRAM.

There are couple of things that can go wrong in an upgrade, any one of which would give you an error message or other indication of failure. Since this is not the case, I would take a closer look at the Magix config. You'll probably find that your translations were restored after all.
