I'm currently writing a dbase to monitor labour efficiency. Each worker may spend time in different departments. I need to be able to list the department they spent the most time in, only. I know how to create a max summary value report based upon the time spent, but it does not show the department. Any thoughts? Cheers s-)
Does the body rule the mind or does the mind rule the body - I dunno!

what does your report look like? what is it's record source? i suppose the department is listed in a table some place with hours worked? do you have the department control listed on your report? please supply more details.

thanks.

At its basic level I have a PERSONNEL table, and a Booking table. Their linked by one field (clock No). The report pulls in the clock no, name etc, from the Personnel table, and dept worked, time earned, worked and performance etc, from the Booking table. I have to identify how many employees worked in each department over a week, but I only wish to count them once, by identifying which department they work the most in. Not very exact, but it will do until I upgrade the rest of the system. Hope this helps! Cheers s-)
