How do you change the max processes allowed for each user? I know it requires reconfiguration of the Kernel. What files do I go to and how do I modify them and then recompile the Kernel? I am using Red Hat version 6.1

If I were you, I'd try the Linux server forum in the MIS section. This is not a technical forum (I think)

Good Luck!

P.S. I know Redhat 6.2 came with a GUI tool for X taht helps with the kernel, but I was never taht brave.
