Hello,

We have recently ran into a problem with ISDN connections. When it trys to connect the Ascend log shows the following error:

Call refused (low memory)

Upon further investigation with netstat I found that I have an overwhelming amount of Unreachable ICMP packets. I have installed filters for the blaster worm, but it doesnt seem to fully stop this problem. The TNT is an older one running TAOS 7.0.4 with the older 4ether2 card and HA192 hdlc card.

Any ideas?

Let me know if I need to provide more info.

Try the following:

read ip-global
set iproute-cache-size = 8000
set iproute-cache-enable = n
wri
set iproute-cache-enable = y
wri

However, I have heard that the 4ether2 cards have been having some major issues with the Blaster worm. It may be time to upgrade your hardware considering the 4ether2 cards were EOL about 2 years ago. I have heard the Ether3 cards are functioning fine despite the worm. It may be wise to also upgrade your HDLC card to HDLC2 since you may need to also upgrade your TAOS. The HA192 is not supported on 8.0 or above.
