Need help

My project plan for an XP rollout is in msp 2000 and im up to 5600 rows, is there a max i can go to or is it not an issue, had one for two odd error message and problems, the error includes text font editing etc

Also when i save as my file it is 14 meg big, if i do a save as then the size suddenly drops to 7 meg, any ideas why??

All help appreciated

Kaney

In P2000 go into help and look for "Project Specifications". For your specific case: up to 1,000,000 tasks, 1,000,000 resources.

As for the lost cruft ... project compresses the file during a file save as but not during a file save. You'd need an inside contact at Microsoft to tell you what cruft gets carried forward.

Thanks very much for your response, lets hope all goes okay when i try it

What do you mean by "cruft"?????

Cheers again

Kane

Google is your friend. Search on "cruft interfaces" (no quotes) and click on "I'm feeling lucky". The first two paras are all that count.
