Max reasonable size for a single backup stream

What do you believe the maximum size for a single stream backup is or should be? 50GB, 75GB, 100GB or more. And why?

Do you believe it should be different for NT/W2K or UNIX?

If you can stream 100G onto a tape in a reasonable amount of time, I see no reason that it shouldn't be unreasonable.

Size doesn't matter - time is more important. (=D)
