I found the registry entry MaxRecordLength. I remember hearing that this is the same one used for max message length, is that true? I was able to change it in the registry, but when I changed it in voicemail pro client he reset it back to the 3600. Is this really the max?

Yes, I believe it is :)

so there is no way to leave a message longer than 6 minutes?

That is a rather long message though, voicemail isn't there to hide behind or replace a conversation, either way I don't think you can go longer than 6 minutes, however I could be wrong :)

Hold up that's 60 minutes not 6, 3600/60 = 60 :)

oh good call, then there must be there is another registry entry...

That is just set in the VM Pro preferences, it is also max 60 mins though:

· Max. Message Length (secs)
This value sets the maximum length for messages. The default message length is 120 seconds. The maximum message length is 3600 seconds (60 minutes). 1 minute equals approximately 1MB of disk space.

Is that not long enough then, I would be asleep after 10 mins of a message :)

Use the "voice question" in VMPro, you can enter more than 14400 seconds.

Would you like to record conversation in a room?
Or is your customer CIA or FBI?

I was stuck on looking at the Max Call\VRL Record Length... I must have looked at that preferences page 5 times in the last 4 hours and didn't even look at that Max Message Length.

Man, I guess i cant be that mad at the next person that calls complaining of their phone not working and when I dial in to find DND on.

This was worse than RTFM.

Happens to anyone of use, you have at least read the manual.
I bet you've also read things you didn't know beside that question you had.
