Is there a system max on how many KIMs you can have? I have 20 on 1 system, tried to add another, and it said "addon error" on the display. This was also the 5th KIM on a particular set.

A Station Auxilliary Power Supply is not needed four 4 KIMS or less. If the KIM's are designated as EKIM's you can only attach a max of four KIM's to a 7316E. If the KIM's are designated as OKIM's you can attach up to nine KIM's to a 7316E. You must add a SAPS after 4 KIM's though. That is a footnote from the BCM 4.0 Installer CD under KIM's

Did you install a Power Supply for the 5th?

What is the determination/definition of EKIM or OKIM?

EKIM (Enhanced KIM) allows you to move line buttons to the KIM. OKIM (Ordinary KIM) doesn't allow line keys to me shown on the KIM. OKIM only permits Internal/External Autodial and Features.
