Max columsn problem

Hi all,

Is there any limitation in siebel analitics on columns selection in request. I have problem with this. I am not able to pull more than 45 columns in siebel answers..

I am wondering what business requirement would have you adding more than 45 columns on a report, especially an Analytics report that is used for slicing and dicing. This sounds like a detail-level report that would probably be more best served with a PDQ in the Siebel Applications.

Aside from that, there is no known limitations with the number of columns you can select in an Analytics query since it just funnels the query to the DB. If there is a limitation, it may be on the DB side. I've only tested this out with 7.7.1 so depending on the version you have, I cannot accurately confirm that it is a limitation on older versions.
