We have a Neax 2000 IVS PBX. There are 3 Pims, if that is the correct terminalogy... Anyways on the first pim, in slot LT11/AP1 we have a 4LCD-A card. A 4-line analog card. LEN 0044-0047. The next card is a 4COTB, LEN 0048-0051. LEN 0044, 0045 and 0047 are in use by fax machines. 0046 is available, today I tried to assign a ext to that LEN but I keep getting this error:

MatWorx has detected an invalid card type ( 4COTB ) at the requested LEN. You can not program a single-line at this location.

This has me confused because LEN 0044, 0045, and 0047 are all single-line stations. Any assistance on this issue would be greatly appriciated. Thank you!

you are trying to install the card into an ap slot try installing into slot 1-7

LEN 0046 is the 3rd port on LT slot 11.
Make sure it is a 4LCD card and then just go to the MOC terminal uner the tools icon.
Press F9 a few times and you should see COMMAND=
Enter 10 spacebar 0044 spacebar and you should see the first of your fax machine stations. Press the Enter key until you reach LEN 0046 and then simply enter the new station number followed by F2. You should see OK returned and you can then hook up the station.
If you are referring to MATWorx Studio I am not surprised. That software has more bugs than a swamp. Original DOS MAT made by NECJ is much more reliable. Unfortuneatley the Japanese MATWorx (Windows GUI for IVS) was never released in the US (probably cause it worked). We got stuck with the Studio designed in the US.

I am referring to matworx studio. I have noticed it is very touchy. I do get the wierdest errors. thanks for your input, I am sure its a 4lcd card. Thanks...
