Matrix report move colums to next line instead of next page

I have a matrix with group report and would like the columns to go to new line instead of a new page so that the page space can be used more eficiently. How it is now if one group has many colums it only shows that one group for many pages.

Hope this makes sense.
I searched with no success.

I think it is not possible to force the matrix to wrap into the same page. What you can do is to create to matrices and feed them with different queries. The query for the first matrix woudl limit the number of columns to fit into the page. The query for the second matrix would pick the remaining columns.
