Matrix logger trunk setup

We are using a Nice Matrix Logger to logs calls over a number of E1 circuits. We now want to record some internal calls as well. To do this we route calls over tie trunks via the matrix logger and back to the switch. The tie trunks and call transfers work ok but I'm not sure if its possible for the matrix logger to record calls via tie trunks. Has anyone tried this?

Probably a bit late to answer this but just in case I have a site with four locations, four CLS Servers, four Matrix Loggers, etc etc etc. We are successfully recording the Tie lines having configured them the same as standard trunks.
