Hi Guys,

I've been tasked with installing this BRI GSM gateway on a 3300. I will be doing it remotely as the controller is about 1000 plus kms away from me. The only details I have is that they have plugged in the gateway to the BRI ports on the controller and they have green lights. Does anyone have any experience on this configuration?

Cheers!

Lol! You seem to have come across this before. I believe I have configured it in ARS and have gotten someone to test calling out. They are getting an error "Call barred". COS perhaps?

Right. making some progress....I hope :). I figured why i was getting call barred. Tenanting was setup. I've changed this and I can get call out. However, I'm not able to dial in. Symptoms are - caller hears phone ringing 3 times then cuts off. Physically, the phone does not actually ring. However, if phone is off-hook, you go through to voice mail. Any ideas?

Cheers!

It's been years and I couldn't possibly help you but I had too share my experience.

I'm pleased you enjoyed it

These ones look like they could also be MiCC related

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

So I got this going finally. However, the users are telling me that every 2nd call is failing. Did my testing and they are correct. When I run CCS tracing, the calls that are failing are not even hitting the controller. This is the same for inbound and outbound calls. Is this an issue with my controller config or the gateway itself?

Cheers!

If you can't see it hitting the controller then I would suggest the gateway is at fault.

hiya guys
