Mathematics with session variables

Can someone tell me if this is allowed. Does not seem to produce a result, thought I would check before checking variables have values (99% sure they do) Thanks

$_SESSION['OST'][$TT]=$_SESSION['UPRC'][$TT] * $_SESSION['QTY'][$TT];
