Hello i am making project plan for recipe of cake.
I am facing two problems.
No.1 when i enter price of material resource like baking powder in Resource sheet as 4 $ for 1 kg and then i assign resource and use this baking powder only 250gm in one step so it calculate wrongly.
So tell me how i have to enter prices in Ms project.
Secondly as i have strict time for this project of 60 min so i am thinking to run some activities in parallel how can i do this?
Please help me out.

Running tasks in parallel is accomplished using predecessor/successor relationships. Although you can specifically enter a Start date/time or a Finish date/time, you should never do this.

Cost calculations worked fine for me.

On the resource sheet I created a resouce of "Baking Powder", made it a material resource and gave it a cost of $4.

On the Gantt chart, I selected the task, Alt+F10 (to get the Assign Resources display), selected Baking Powder and put .25 in the Units column).

Finally, that seems like far far far too much baking powder. Surely 2 tsps (about 10 gm) is sufficient.
