I see there are different kinds of MAT cables. MAT CA-Q, MAT CA-P, MAT CA-T.I am looking for which one to use with MCI integration to a Repartee Voice mail. I am also wondering what each kind is used for.I can't seem to find any documentation. My MCI integration will be from an AP00 card to the 9 pin com port on the PC. I am guessing one is 9 pin, one is 25 pin ect.

The proper, supported cable for MCI integration is the
"RS RVS-4S CA-C" cable.

The other cables you mention (MAT CA-P, Q, T) are for local MAT connection for use with MATWorX.

I found out MAT CA-T works just fine for MCI. And you don't need a 9 pin to 25 pin adaptor.

MAT cables are that for MAT connection not MCI or SMDR connection. Allways use the RVS for MCI connectivity.

OK, But to answer my question ..why are there 3 different kinds? Are the ends different? I can't seem to find them in a book.
