MAT and pickup groups

Is there a way to set up pick up groups through MAT rather than directly on the switch?

A Ringing Pick Up Group is set up by merely placing a TN in it. If you wish to set up a new group via MAT you will need to run a report, in order to list all existing group numbers, you may then select the next number in the sequence as your new group number and follow the steps below to place an extension or extensions in the new group:

1. Highlight all extensions requiring the new number
2. Click on Edit
3. Select Global Update
4. Scroll to RNPG and OK
5. Enter the present RNPG of the extensions
6. Enter the RNPG number you have selected via the report
7. Click ADD
8. Click confirm change and OK
9. Confirmation screen appears
10. Select change or change all and OK
11. SYNC status of the extensions now shows CHG

You may now synchronise the changes to the Meridian.
