Master Project File- Changing project priorities

I am using Project 2000. I have created a Master Project File and Resource Pool File. I have created the subprojects in individual files and have made them share the resource pool. I have inserted these subprojects into the Master project. I have leveled without overallocation because I'm using Group resources rather then individual

Ok so now our Priority has changed. Project #3 is now #1. I have set project #3's prority to 600 thinking that would make it a higher prority, but nothing changes. What is the correct procedure to make project schedule accordinly when our priority changes?

I would like to be able to change the priority which intern recalculates the order of tasks to be worked.

After changing the priority you must again level your resources.
