When I drag out guides on my master page, that sit beyond the edge of the page (ie 3mm bleed guides), these guides do not appear on the document pages.

Why does this happen, and is there some way around it, other than dragging out guides for each spread?

Huh...your right...the test I did yesterday was only had the guide inside the page area...holding down command while draging will extend the guide past the page area and will show up on the normal pages so long as the guide is on the page area.

I don't know if this is possible. I would guess it was a pasteboard thing. Never had to do it until I tested it for you.

Sorry, can't help...Does anyone else know???

Marcus

Just a few thoughts
Do you have your guides visible?
Do you have the correct Master Page applied. You should have a letter on the page you are attempting to view the guide on.
Are you sure you put the guides on the master page and not just on the first page.

I did that myself just last week.

Hope it helps
