Master Database Integrity Checks Failure

I have a scheduled System Database Integrity check running after office hours every day. This fails on the master database becuase the error log says it needs to be in single user mode. Is this correct or is the error actually something else that might be going on ? (no idea what it could be at the moment though).

Depends what the integrity check is actually doing - sounds like it is trying to do a fix.

I wouldn't advise running checks on a production system - better to restore a backup and run the checks on that - gives the advantage of testing the backups automatically as well.

Yes it does have the fix any minor errors box ticked. I have un-ticked this and will see what happens over night.
