I have one workstation (XPSP2) eliciting an Error Event 8003 on one of our AD DCs (W2K03):
Error Event 8003 in the System log From MRxSmb (User None)
The master browser has received a server announcement from the computer ourworkstation that believes that it is the master browser for the domain on transport NetBT_Tcpip_{723D1F10-C39A-4C.
I’ve read several solutions that suggest making configuration changes to the DC, but if the DC was the issue wouldn't more workstations be chiming in? What could possibly be going on with the workstation itself that may be causing these errors? It occurs almost daily - first thing in the morning as if it was during the user's initial logon to the domain.
Thanks!
